Lincolnshire Showground Steam Rally 20-21 August 2005
Lincolnshire Mills Group had a stand at this very successful event, which attracted a lot of interest. Inside the gazebo were souvenirs such as postcards and booklets from the mills, with freshly-baked bread and many varieties of flour ground at L.M.G. members' windmills.
Freshly-baked loaves from Waltham Windmill - all were soon sold!

Occasionally we would hear a familiar aircraft noise, and rush out of the gazebo to see the Red Arrows practising overhead.
L.M.G. committee member hands out samples of treacle bread made from stone-ground flour.
Inside the L.M.G. gazebo - wares from a number of mills.

A St John Ambulance nurse tries her hand at the windmill puzzle.
Learning about the windmill mechanism (next to a working model of Heckington 8-sailed windmill).
